Overview
Spring Valley Brewery is the original brewery of Kirin. Founded in 1869 by William Copeland, the brewery was purchased by a group of Japanese investors and eventually Spring Valley became Kirin. In 2014 the Spring Valley Brewing brand was relaunched and they currently have 3 locations in Japan. The Daikanyama shop was the first to be launched and can be considered their head location with a brewery located inside the main building. With 2 spacious floors with ample seating and an outdoor area as well, you never have to worry about getting a seat. There are also events held in the brewery from time to time so be on the lookout.

Note: Spring Valley Brewery is a wholly owned and created crafty brewery created by Kirin. The main recipes were created in collaboration with Japanese chefs and they continue to make experimental beers. Spring Valley Brewery should not be considered a craft beer brewery but they strive to be within the same category.
